We made a trip out to Greenville, NC this weekend to meet the adorable Caroline and her family. Amy, I'm so glad you contacted me! The day was perfect for outdoor photography (we missed the rain, yay!), and we got some great shots. Here are a few "sneak peeks" into your session. Sibling Session - Carrboro, NC

I had the pleasure of shooting siblings Rachel, Candace & Joey on Saturday. We roamed the streets of Carrboro, then headed to Chapel Hill for some botanical garden shots. We got a few funky shots, and a few classic ones. You all were hilarious and great fun! :)

4th of July Celebration

We celebrated the 4th of July at my granddaddy's house. Pool time, bbq-ing, croquet, volleyball, and just plain fun with the family. It was the first time Jordan got to hang out with my dad's side of the family...well, except at Christmas time, but we were a bit rushed then. We had all day outside, and it was one of the best times I've ever had with this marvelous bunch of peeps. :) Love you all!

I've been on a black and white kick lately, but I had to throw in my favorite color eye-poppin shot of Cam too! I guarantee you I have at least 20,000 photos of these two kiddos. They're quite photogenic, yeah? :)

Special - Book Before Wednesday!

For those of you that haven't received our newsletter, we thought we'd let you in on our special. It's that time of year...we're booking sessions for the fall, pouring over holiday cards & gift options to offer you, and (gasp) adjusting our session rates. We're currently organizing the site with more detailed information on pricing and products, and we'll update you when that's finished. The new session fee is already listed on our website and will be valid for the next year. It's hard to believe, but this is our first session fee adjustment in three years! With the experience and upgraded equipment we've acquired in those three years, we feel it's time for an update. However, if you book with us before July 1st (for a session this year), we'll give you the original session fee.

July 1st isn't far away, so if you've been considering a session, now's the time to go for it! Check out the calendar on the official website to see what dates we have available, and contact us on our site's Calendar, "Contact Us" page, or email Mindy at mindysea@mac.com.

Holiday Deadline - If you're interested in holiday cards or photo products for the holidays, book your session before the November 13th deadline! We're shooting after this date as well, but will not be offering photo cards for these sessions. Book away!

Morgan Leigh

Some exciting updates are in the works with our website and our photography biz itself (one may actually include changing our name...more about that later :)! For now, I had to post a few photos of my sister & niece, who visited last weekend. We call little Morgan "Renaissance Child" because of her fair plump skin and gorgeous auburn hair. See for yourself, we think she's gorgeous, and a lot of fun! :)

I haven't seen these girls and their wonderful parents in almost exactly one year. Way too long for me! From their nanny not too long ago, to family photographer, hopefully for many years to come. Elizabeth & Stephen, your girls are the absolute best, and we love you all! We can't wait for the next session, hopefully downtown! :)
