On a lovely, hot Sunday morning, we met these gorgeous gals for a session at Duke Gardens. Rain and snow have not been our friends this year, and 30 mins prior to our session, it had been raining and cloudy. Thankfully, shortly before our session time the rain disappeared and the sun decided to show. Yay! We had a lot of fun following you three around. Enjoy this little sneak peek at your photos!

The Burchfields

Yes, we do have gorgeous clients, and gorgeous locations bring out the beauty even more. Loving all of these from our session with the B's this Sunday. Handsome E and radiant Hannah, trotting around with gorgeous mom. Dariele, I still think Ethan will be a photographer some day...always posing himself and finding the "perfect spot" for a photo. He led the way most of the session! :)

Kevin & Lil Benjamin

An overcast afternoon spent with Kevin and his adorable son Benjamin. We had so much fun chasing you two around! And what could be cuter than little B saying over and over, "I gonna get you Daddy!" These two are too sweet. It was lovely to meet you Kevin, and your little adorable bundle of energy!

This is one of my personal favorites, taken as Ben ran down the hill and tackled Dad!

The Hagens

Annual session with Amy, Erik, Jackson & Camryn. A few shots at Duke Gardens, then over to Duke's campus (blech to Duke, but it was pretty). Grammy & Hippy joined us this time...I never get those "y/ie" endings correct, so forgive me if I'm wrong. :) It was fun, and I'm still loving the dip shot, and the smooch with the kiddos on the shoulders! So fun and so sweet!

Tracie & Brian, you have the most adorable boys! Freddie & Alex were so entertaining and fun to photograph. We hope we'll be able to join you out on the farm! Here are a few teaser photos until the rest are up. :)

Terry Family Photos

We headed out for what looked like a dreary Saturday morning for photos at Duke Gardens. I'd been worried about rain for the past couple of days, but when we hopped out, it was nearly overcast, and as the morning progressed we saw sunshine! Miranda & Lawrence, here are a few "teaser" photos of Reed. I still say he should model. :) Can't wait to show you the rest!

Baby B with Mommy & Daddy

Our second session with the adorable Bryant took us to Duke Gardens, where we got to shoot mom & dad as well! We roamed the grounds, seeking scenic sites and not walking more than a few feet to find one after the other. The gardens are a great site for a traditional family setting, and we're there frequently when everything's blooming or when the leaves are falling. I'm really looking forward to finishing these up, with bright colors all over my monitor, keeping things light and cheerful! Alicia & Eric, hope you enjoy the additional teasers! :)
