The Lovely Gabrielle

Gabby is a senior this year at Swansboro High. She loves kiddos, and I think she has an eye for photography. Maybe we'll convince her to join the family biz one day. ;) My gorgeous younger sis, out on the town of Swansboro. We're loving these Gabs, and hope you do too!

Down on the Farm

I've been wanting some shots out in the countryside for quite some time. And of course, any time we find a new shooting location my mind goes crazy with possibilities. Well I was off my rocker until the very moment we got to the first of these two locations. Two farms, located within a mile of each other. The first was absolutely gorgeous, with horses, an old Scout, and streaming evening light never hurts. The second spot had a lot more natural "props." I personally love the field shots, but the buildings, fire truck, and tire swing were all amazing. Doesn't hurt to be shooting a gorgeous family as well. :) We had fun with you all, can't wait to work on the rest of them!

Cam Turns Two

We did their photo session on the same day as little Camryn's 2nd birthday party. She brought her usual amount of adorable to the session and the party, as did her brother and friends. And what's a party without a bouncy house, seriously?

The Hagens

Annual session with Amy, Erik, Jackson & Camryn. A few shots at Duke Gardens, then over to Duke's campus (blech to Duke, but it was pretty). Grammy & Hippy joined us this time...I never get those "y/ie" endings correct, so forgive me if I'm wrong. :) It was fun, and I'm still loving the dip shot, and the smooch with the kiddos on the shoulders! So fun and so sweet!

Appalachian State Football

We recently took a trip to Boone, NC to see our dear Mountaineers play their first home game in the finally-finished revamped stadium. Let me tell you...it was beyond gorgeous. We were able to tour the facilities the evening before the game, and it's amazing how spoiled these football players are (and they should be, as long as they don't let it go to their heads)! Took a few snaps of our evening with other Yosef clubbers, and a couple at the game on Saturday.

Alan & Nicole

We did a maternity session with these two lovebirds who were expecting their first little one. You can tell by their expressions how much fun they were to shoot! Rockwood Park was the perfect location, with the playground area and lots of greenery too. We ended the session with some "craving shots" at Q-Shack in Durham. One of Nicole's biggest craving was french fries, so that's what we got! Love the Lady & the Tramp style shot. :)

Tim & Monica

Tim and Monica are both experienced photographers, so we asked them for a photo session trade-off! We headed to downtown Durham, shot a few photos at our favorite crumbly green wall and also the famed blue wall. Before calling it a night, we headed to the top of a parking garage right as the sun was going down. The light was gorgeous, and Jordan and I even caught some sun flare. :)
